Tournament #4 - Lake Roosevelt
« on: June 28, 2010, 11:48:20 AM »
Fished my last club tournament before moving this coming August.  I didn't place as well as I would've liked, but overall I did OK.  The fishing was pretty good, catching well over 20 fish, but just couldn't find anything of real size.  Biggest fish for me was 2 lbs.  I did catch my first wacky rig fish and first shakey head fish.  Top producers for me were senko's and spinnerbait's.  Weighed in limits both days which was another first for me.  Caught my 5th keeper on my last cast of day 2.  Day 1 I culled 3 fish.  Total weight for both days was 9.62 lbs which put me in 28th out of 34 anglers.  I'm currently 7th out of 47 anglers in points though.  A couple bonuses were catching a 16.5" walleye and seeing a couple bears.  I'm kind of bummed that this was my last tournament in this club.  I learned a ton from these guys and hope that if I return to Spokane, I will fish with them again.

There's a couple respectable LR fish.  Good job.  I'm thinking those would look good in a bag during the NWBass tourney there in August!

Yes, Inland Empire Bass Club.

Big fish for the tourney was 4.54 lbs.  Winning weight was around 22 lbs.

yep 4 of those and a good kicker will seperate us from 90 percent of the 100 boats. LOL.
i think we'll see some good weight this time, it has been a few years now since NWB has been there and the reports i hear are some bigger fish to be had..

looks like a good tourny though.. congrats on limits both days. that alone can be a chore at times.
where are you moving too?
