I work for a city fire department, there is a lot of farm, brushy area in the city , so altho I cannot shoot I go call it sometimes.seeing a coyote and getting it to respond is a real learning experience. learning to call and kill is hard, the set up is hard to get right, so call where ever you can if you know an area where there are coyotes. even if you cannot shoot.you will learn alotCarl
I am still new at this and just got my 1st one this weekend but I would say one problem is using the Power Dogg. I tried to call in one I had spotted and he looked at the pup distress and could care less. So I did the cottontail and he cared even less and I KNOW he heard it. Then I used my mouth call and it was like a frickin magnet! I'm thinking about sending that damn power dogg back after seeing it fail first hand. Sure it was only one dog but I totally lost confidence in it after that and didnt even bring it out again. The only reason I am considering keeping it is for the howls but I may send it back and get the Spitfire.
