Here is a link to the Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Development Company website which lists the land that was sold.  It was labeled "Shultz Creek."  It lists it as sold but you can click on the icon to the right which will bring up a PDF document which has the property boundaries overlayed on a WEYCO road map.  Access to the Fawn Lake area will be more difficult due to this sale that's for sure.  If you have any troubles with the link, contact me and I will send it to you.

I hope this helps!

I wish I could help you there but I am fairly unfamiliar with the area myself.  I have looked a little at my maps and looks like you might have to approach from either the Green River side or from the lakes to the East of Fawn Lake.  I don't know, and maybe others on here do, about access next to the Coldwater Interpretive Center.  Looks to be roads that you could hike in on, but I thought it was all gated off to any access at that point.  Anyone else have any thoughts?  I hope this helps. :twocents:

It may be locked up now, but they used to have the 500 gate unlocked during June/July. I went up there several times via that gate. Otherwise, you just have to hike in from the highway (3500 rd?).

Cabelas used to market these properties, but backed out due to the access complaints from sportsmen.
