My boss got his Margaret archery cow permit. It was not like my moose (old green style). His was a white postcard.

WDFW said in the regs that they would be mailed out middle of July. So they still have some time toget them out. The next 7 to 10 days and you should have them. I haven't gotten my 2nd deer permit yet either.

I got a post card yesterday that said I drew elk and they where trying to get some gates opened up for the hunt. It said that they would be sending a maps of what gates would be opened a week before the hunt. I prefer the gates stay closed but that's just me.

Skinnyman I think you need to buy your second deer permit, they won't send it to you until you pay up.

I bought it a couple weeks ago online, and I now have the tag. But it doesn't say where it is for. Thought they would send something saying the location, I know where it is for but an enforcement officer wouldn't without looking it up on his computer. Does anyone know how that works with 2nd deer?

Just like with any other special permit, I think you should receive the permit in the mail. You will need to have the permit on you while hunting, and the 2nd tag you purchased. The permit will have the unit and season listed.
