i'd say that the Oly peninsula probably has the worst potential for a trophy rocky, whitetail and muley and the Blues must have the worst potential for a blackie

THe Blues for everything except cougars.  We have outstanding trophy potential for cougars.  Everyone should come here and hunt our giant cougars..

I'd say Douglas County for mule deer, and probably over in Almota/Steptoe

You're right there Bone.   I cut my teeth chasing those dinky mule deer in that country.   The 24-29" bucks are easy to come by, it's those 30"+ I can't seem to knock down?

I've blown a few chances at some nice bucks in this unit. I would'nt count it out quite yet.
