any body know if the newby creek rd that comes off of the twisp river rd. open to vehicle traffic or only for foot and bike traffic.

Used to always be open.  Don't know as of recent days though.

open, we drove up there last year in oct. Do you hunt that cr? It seems pretty thick in there.

we have driven those 2. never stopped to hunt. You ever had any success in either of the 2.

i've had success on the porman cr. side. i was hoping that newby cr. road wood be closed, it looked pritty good from a distance and i might just give it a try any how.

Newby creek goes in aways then it is burmed out.  There is a road that goes east  off the road that dead ends real close to private property that is off from poorman creek.

I can guarantee you won't be the only guy up there all day.  I know that county very well and you will not be alone, it use to be really good hunting untill someone told the someone, which turned into a crap load of people.  The general season gets hit VERY hard.  Have fun and keep lots of orange on.
