Nice Fish!   What river you fishing?
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Well it is a no secrete spot lol... Reiter, I live across from the hatchery. They opened it early this year. Fishing has been pretty good, but getting slow now as the water drops.

Good job Snowman, now that fishing has slowed you can concentrate on killin' some big ol' bears!

HEY - thats my secret hole!!  :chuckle: Nice fish mang. Has there been alot of people up there lately? My buddy was up there last sat about 9-10am and he said there was only a handful of guys?! What did you get them on, drift gear, spoon, floats?? So that was earlier this year and its getting low & tougher now huh? Was thinking about heading up there this weekend or maybe at the mouth of the Wallace but I'm supposed to go out to Arlington to get some yotes off a chicken farm.... hmmmm... what should I do....  :dunno:

Well I'm still catching them. The pic with my 2 fish was last friday. I'm drifting an using floats, but I tie all my own flies and jigs. As far as people, the numbers are low which is good. Best time is first thing in the am or the last 2 hours of light. The mouth of the wallace has been slow an they closed the king season early this year. The only advice I will give is don't use the standard gear as they have been bombarded by it all season so far. Use stuff that you would look at as it won't work. Smaller the better!!! Hope fishing will be good for ya. :) I'll be down saturday morning fishen as well as tonight, tommorow an the next till bear opens up LOL... :)

Thanks for info man. I can barely tie a knot let alone my own flies/jigs!  :chuckle: Under a float I would normally use a maribou jig, like 1/4oz with purple & black feathers or a 1/8oz gamasatsu yarn tail jig and maybe a chunk of sand shrimp - are you saying stay smaller than that and away from the norm like the pinks & stuff? Do you use the pink rubber worms at all? I also like spoons, the rvrfshr & or the BC Steels - seen any taken on those? Thanks again.

Man... what does a guy need to do to catch fish at Reiter like that?    :dunno:

At the very least I am trying a 1/16 oz jig next time out.  Been using 1/4 oz'ers and been catching squat.

Nice work Snowman!

:chuckle: Put your time in. I spend quite a bit of time fishing and always tying new jigs and flies up. Never stick with one jig or fly, change often till you find the one. ;)

Its been pretty slow for us, I have only been down for like 3 days total so I haven't caught very many. My buddy and his dad have benn doing ok. My attention seems to drift away from my bobber about the same time it goes down, so that hasn't helped either :chuckle:. I'm not going tonight, I might be down there sunday or monday though, not sure if I can or not yet.
