Some of you have a whole lot more time on your hands than I do. I have no time to run/swim/lift every day.

Never really get that far out of shape, spent the first half of the year doing P90X and Insanity. Started back therapy a couple months ago so had to lay off those so I started Riding my bike on my off days and a spin bike at work and really ramping up the cardio with some pushups, squats and crunch's mixed in. Averaging about 750 calories an hour burned give or take according to my heart rate monitor and an average HR of around 140bpm per workout. Resting HR was in the low 40s last time I checked. Can't wait to get into the hills and start chasing bugling bulls.

I'm not a saint , kenmoore gun club hill at night and the thaughts of elk in my head.

I used to live right at the bottom of that Hill. used to run to albertsons and back every morning before work. Also jogged it some evenings with the wife and pushed my daughter in the stroller. That is definately a good workout HILL.

This year I finally got a MT bike and ride to work everyday - been playin basketball a couple nights a week and lifting weights a couple nights a week. I have been able to squeeze about 115 miles of hiking so far this year and about 70 of those with my daughter in a backpack.... Really wish I  had time to get more hiking in but I am feeling pretty good - down 24 lbs since january and at my goal weight just need to work on endurance now.

I bought some new hiking gear...it's still new.

I bought a new bicycle...it's still new.

I bought a new truck...the tires are half-worn.

At least the truck is getting some excersize!  :chuckle:
