new gun maybe

Looking at buying a brand new remington .300 mag for 347$ its got a 9 power bariska scope on it sounds like a pretty good deal to me what do you guys think?

If its any of the 700's then thats a good price but junk the cheap scope.

what gun? the scope is junk and i would pitch it or put it on a 22 very off brand. maybe worth 20-30.00

Trip it on fleebay or just toss it.

I was planning on tossing the scope and using one of the ones i have now. but was wondering if that is a decent price for a .300

Thats a good price for any Remington 700.
If its a 770 then pass.
If its not one of the bolt actions then I dont have a clue.

here is the same gun for about the same price. with a little better scope, that price is what you would pay from the store new. i don't think it is any kind of a sweet deal and i do not care for the 770's as well. i would pass and weight for a better deal on a better gun

No offense but spending money on a 770 is like buying dog **** from your neighbor's yard. I would pass. Spend 200 more and buy a Tikka, Weatherby Vanguard, or a 700. My   Good luck

Heck for under $400 you can get a savage from walmart with a cheap simmons scope...and accu-trigger.
for $350 (or maybe less) you can get a Stevens 200. For $400-450 you can get a Howa 1500 or Weatherby Vanguard (exactly the same--different name).

The 710, and now the 770...two of the worst rifles ever released...definitely Remington's biggest mistakes. You will NOT be happy with it. PERIOD.
