OK are you ready for this year??? You need cash I need capes.
« on: August 07, 2010, 02:08:57 PM »
I am a small taxidermist business and trying to build up my stock cape selection. I know a lot of hunters personally and on here that do nothing with their capes. I can help you out with that. I am specifically looking for the following capes. I pay cash and will not trade work. If you like my work then I can hand you the cash and you can hand it back an sign another work order for what you want done.

I am looking for 3 mature elk capes, off of either X large 5x5's or bigger elk -  I will pay cash up to 175.00 depending on what they look like.

I am looking for 5 large size mule deer capes - I will pay up to 100.00 on them depending on what they look like and the size of the antlers that came off of them.

I am looking for 5 large size blacktail capes - I will pay up to 100.00 for them depending on what they look like and the size of the antlers that came off of them.

I will be taken eye to nose measurements / neck measurements / burr measurements. Will be looking to see how the cape was cut off of the animal. Will also be looking to see what kind of field care was done with the cape.  I have no problems with someone bringing the entire animal here and me taking it off the skull and handing you back your antlers. I would like them cut behind the last rib all the way around the animal and the front legs tubed down to the knee cap. Prices will vary depending on all the above criteria.

If you have any questions PM me and I can answer all your questions.

Thanks

Depends on what type of capes and what size,

I am still looking for a couple mule deer capes and some whitetails, and two elk capes. I dont trade work for them though, only cash money.

I also know that Michelle Nelson is looking for capes.

And I think Kuduman and Charlie may also be looking for some also, not to sure on that though.

Thanks
