That totally sucks.  Good to hear some landowners are driving around the area and looking for poachers.  Not much you can do now except get back off the roads deeper in the woods for the bulls that they can't shoot from the road.  Good Luck! Hope to see some pics

Yeah I understand getting off the road except for the fact that this area the special tags are only good in the farm land not in the forest  :bash:  I would amagin that the area is real hot with people watching right now I wish I could go up and play mall cop myself!  :bash:

Thanks, I have high hopes but you can amagin how this is on the excitment maybe they will get caught or just stop! I know of a couple more up there but my season is the last  :bash:

We have land in the blues and poaching is a problem starting with locals then Indians, then Gypsies, then west siders and just about in that order for the citations the WDFW has written on our place.

I hate hearing this kind of story.  Somehow it's worse knowing it's in my backyard.  I put out a couple calls to see if I could come up with any more info, but it's unlikely.  This thread is the first I've heard of it, so I doubt my friends have heard of it either.  My guess is just some kids that won't be back, but who knows?  There'll be another there for you 400!  Hopefully a little bigger, too!!
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

no 400 I think I can tell the diff between a 22 rl and a 30 cal 165 grain slug lol. besides i've never recovered a bullet from that 300 ultra mag in an animal.  ;)
