dog training
« on: August 18, 2010, 05:01:33 PM »
So we're coming up on the new year in a few weeks and it's time to start serious work with Maggie.  Does anyone know of some ponds in the Kitsap area where I could work on retrieves through the decoys?  I've not had any luck finding good trainng spots.

Thanks for any help.

There's a few across the hood canal bridge that i know are not busy at all...sandy shore and out at tarboo lake.  not sure if that's too far or not.

Thanks for the help, guys.  I was down to Tahuya on Friday and found a nice pond to work Maggie.  She had a great time, and didn't mess the decoys up too bad.  Gonna try up around Kingston this week.  Appreciate it.

I didn't know you could hunt birds on Hood Canal.  Do you need a boat?
