It's legal but it can have a negative impact.

Up around our cabin, there's so much salt and bait up there that it doesn't work near as well as it once did. Just too many sources.

I think it's cool to use as a tool to see what's out there but I don't hunt over bait, I don't really have a problem with others doing it, just not what I'm into.

I am going to try it for the first time this season.  I use it for my trail cams, but since my honey hole has been taken over by dirtbikes, I am scrambling to find a new one before the season starts.  All that hard work for nothing :bash:

Sweet feed works real good to get them coming in quick, they can smell it for quite a ways.  I've used it for trail cams and hunted over it when I first moved to Washington.  Haven't used deer/elk bait for quite a while now, but have no problem with those that do.

Cheaper to just go to the local feed store.  But yeah, I am sure some of the products at Wholesale would work.

Seth,
Stop by and see me today.... Wet COB you can get at Skagit farmers supply... works great for deer.  30% selenium will get the elk coming into an area but you need to get it out a efw weeeks before they'll be really hitting it.  You can never go wrong with apples either with the deer!

I live on the Eastern slopes of the Cascades in the Southern part of the state next to the Columbia.  I don't want to hunt over it as I don't have the patience, I love hiking around in the woods too much to sit in one spot.  Plus my wife will be with me and she loves hiking around as well.  I would love though, to get some good trail cam pics of some of the game I have been seeing to share on here.  It's always one thing to tell you guys that I spotted a 340+ class bull but anothere to show you. :chuckle:

The wildgame innovations "deer corn" works well.dumped 15Olbs a week and a half ago in various locations and its more than half gone. Make sure you spread it out, if you put it in piles it will be gone in a night. Its like 8 bucks for a 5O lb bag at wally world
