What are the odds?

So I'm finally changing duty stations and heading to Fort Lewis. The wife, daughter and I leave Georgia on Wednesday. I will be buying Oregon and Washington Deer and Elk archery tags and was wondering what the odds are of me scoring with any of these tags? I'm originally from southern Oregon but I haven't hunted there in a few years. I just want to hear from a few of you out there what my expectations might be...realistically speaking. I could care less about antlers or antler size this first year. I just want to put some delicious wild game in the freezer and get to know the woods in the area. Thanks for your time.

Pretty good given the fact elk and deer tags are sold over the counter in Washington.

And filling those tags the odds according to WDFW you have about a one in three chance. Dumping a cow should not be too difficult lots of units with quite a few elk and just get behind a gate and go. 667 is a good bet around the outskirts of the mine property and is not too far from Ft. Lewis.
