OK I might be a little off you from you all, but they seem to be taking the sport out of it :dunno: maybe I don't see the problem with them  :dunno:

Who said there has to be any sport in it? I'm down with a little blood lust!  :mgun:
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

They probably aren't in it for the sport. It's a job. you can still get some good money from wolf pelts I hope they allow this in Idaho soon.

I feel trapping is still sporting. Not just anyone can throw out some traps and have success. Takes tons of experience and knowledge to be as successful as those guys. Great vid!!

You are correct, I caught dozens of beaver, muskrat, mink, coon, and bobcat before I ever caught my fist coyote. I would imagine wolves are just as smart or even smarter and tougher to catch. I do look forward to Idaho getting wolf trapping someday. I would rather trap one than hunt one, although I am up for either.

Canines do not chew as a rule. I suppose if you left them in the trap for a week but who does that, 24 hour check rule here. Long check times are a thing form the past.
ARs try to keep this old myth around. Just not true with modern traps and check times.
