My first trailcam,,,,good or bad?
« on: August 22, 2010, 10:11:58 PM »
Got my first trail cam today. I'm heading to my place over laborday weekend to put it out. Just wondering if anyone has a Stealthcam Sniper IR. It was fairly cheap and I don't know crap about whats better or not.

Any thoughts?

Mine takes good pictures.  Had problems at the first of this year with battery life but for some reason it is working good now.  Their customer service is nothing to brag about.  Hope it works for you.

Mine is a temperamental little biach, but it takes really good pictures when it is working.  The wake up speed is horrible, but the features are good and it is really sturdy.

They do seem to be hit or miss these days.  The older stealth cams worked for me like champs but these newer ones like to act up.

whatever you do DO NOT leave it in delete mode!!!  IDK why they would have such a mode, but I apparently left mine on last time.  Two weeks and 0 pictures.  There should have been at least 6 of me coming and going (3 shot burst) and it read a big fat 0.
