i live in silverdale and am going to purchase a elk tag this year. i have a spot down in winston that i go to but the pressure is insane. i am trying to figure out where the best places to go on the penninsula. general areas of course. i dont want your honey holes just some friendly help.

Is it really that thick with hunters out here on the pen?  Given the harvest reports, looks like 90% of the take is in SouthCentral/SW part of WA.  Need to find an old timer round here that can show me the ways.

The first question you have to ask yourself is where does PLAIN JOE not want to hunt.  Then go there.  Its that simple.  You will leave 90% of the hunters behind, and you will see more animals. You might have to work a little harder but thats why its hunting and not killing.
