i live in silverdale and am going to purchase a elk tag this year. i have a spot down in winston that i go to but the pressure is insane. i am trying to figure out where the best places to go on the penninsula. general areas of course. i dont want your honey holes just some friendly help.

Is it really that thick with hunters out here on the pen?  Given the harvest reports, looks like 90% of the take is in SouthCentral/SW part of WA.  Need to find an old timer round here that can show me the ways.   :dunno:

The first question you have to ask yourself is where does PLAIN JOE not want to hunt.  Then go there.  Its that simple.  You will leave 90% of the hunters behind, and you will see more animals. You might have to work a little harder but thats why its hunting and not killing.   ;)
