Has anyone used an antenna like this? I know we have to have some truckers or loggers out there there may have used these...I'm thinking about getting one... Its seems like a magnetic cbwhip that plugs into you cell phone.... looking for any input....

In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

I just bought the Wilson model, needed it for work.  Mine doesn't need to be in a holster or nothin, just within a couple feet of the phone.  Its no miracle worker either but it has helped a bunch.  Radio Shack will try to sell it to you for $300 or so, but if you search the net it can be had for $170, wish I could remember the site.  Easy to install yourself.   I'm working in the oil fields out in BFE and thats the one everybody told me to get.  Its a Dual Band Amplifier and its made by Wilson Electronics, no model # on it, but I suggest getting the one that doesn't require you to put your phone in a holster.
