Thanks for the lead-in Rasbo. I did get a bear this morning around 8 am. I was hiking into an area quietly and I heard this bear making noise running through the berry bushes. When I saw the bear it was at a full out run heading for timber. It was impossible to judge any size due to the vegetation and I had about 2 seconds to make up my mind. It exposed itself between some of the brush and I took my shot. I can tell you that I was a little worried when I went to look for it because I did not see any blood right away. I kept looking in the area where I believed that it was when I shot and then I saw a lot of blood. I knew at that moment that I either had a dead bear or an extremely pissed bear. I looked about another 40 or 50 feet and there it was balled up in a bunch of stickers and nettles and one hornets nest.(wonderful) I called for some help and one person brought a quad up to help. Rasbo also showed up and he was a tremendous help in getting that bear out.(thank you very mush Rasbo) This bear is not one of my larger ones, it field dressed at 157 pounds. My guess is that this is maybe 175 to 180 pound bear. I am glad that I took it, I love bear in the freezer.

Good Job!  Nice bear.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
