7Ft Bear Rug Done (Charlies Taxidermy )
« on: September 04, 2010, 03:17:40 PM »
Thought I would post up some pictures of a dandy Bear that Scroder Killed last spring. It was a little behind schedule since the wife has no time anymore to run the sewing machine with the new boy that is 2 1/2 months old. So I got to learn how to run it myself, last time was about the 7th or 8th grade when I made a draw string bag (camo of course  :chuckle: ) Anyway, here he is all 7 feet  ;) Enjoy the pics.

Great job Bucklucky!! I tell everyone that kills a big bear (6 1/2 foot or bigger) that the most and best imperssive way to get the bear done is a rug!! Nothing shows the true size of a big bear like a rug does. I have two that squared just over 7 foot and had one done life size and the other rugged. When you ask someone which is the bigger bear they always pick the rug.
