Flew up to Anchorage on August 22nd for a week with my buddy who just moved back up there. Flew out to some remote locations in my friends plane to fish for silvers and fished some of the drive to rivers as well. Was going to tag along for a black bear hunt later in the week but weather prevented us from getting out to the spot. Fished pretty much every method from eggs to spinners but my favorite was catchin them on my 5wt fly rod, pretty fun on some of those smaller streams...fishing was slow at times but it was an amazing trip and I am thankful to have gone there!
