caught a few on the Columbia (Hanford Reach)
« on: September 16, 2010, 04:07:57 PM »
Three guys in the boat , started about 6AM caught mine about 7:30 -partner had the 2nd fish in the boat an hour later, then soon after he lost his 2nd fish  :(  by about 11:30 it seem to die we did not see any other boats with fish on so a little after noon we called it a day.

wild Chinook male, did not weight or measure.   :dunno:

on the way back to Ringold we saw a huge 6X6 bull elk, tried to take a picture but he would not cooperate.

I have always wanted to fish that part of the river this time of year.

Nice fish and good color that far up the river.

Is the taste of the bait worth the sting of the hook twice?
