Well a four week quest comes to a end.  I have educated a few coyotes trying to get one with the flintlock.  Finally this a.m I called in two and was able to stop this one with a bark at 50 yards.  .50 Cal Lyman flintlock.  I've shot one with a .50 cal and one with a .54 cal patched round ball this year and they both leave huge entry and exit wounds.
Team brokenhand.

Very cool KLRKeith!

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

Went out today no luck. Snow was knee deep and mushy. Did see this guy in the road and he sure did not want to get into that snow. We followed him forever LOL!

With the full moon and NOAA predicting 39 mph winds and the temp hitting 55 deg I figured that today should be some of the best coyote hunting ever!!!  :o   :chuckle: . Did pick up one.
