.375 improved my grandfather had custom made in 1946 in juno. Shooting a 260gr nossler. 3 generations of elk with it now.
I hunt for peace of mind.

as a coug alum, I'd much rather be packing a great bull like that out of the woods than sitting home watching their football team .  Great job on a NICE bull!

As a fellow first time elk killer with a quality bull tag this year :hello:....I can tell you there is not much more of a satisfying hunting experience than walking out with that big head/antlers/cape on your shoulders.  :chuckle:  Cold chills just thinking about it!  Great job!  Michael
