saddly my camera died on the way home as I saw a hawk perched on a no hunting sign on private land

Unfortunately this guy did not make it through the snow and cold temperatures over Thanksgiving  -  Tucannon area

I think owls are cool looking birds!! Sorry to see that one pass on.

I have been in the woods a lot and have never seen a dead owl. Interesting picture.

Not like a person sees alot of owls in the first place. I mostly see them at dusk as I am driving out.

Me and my son saw this one while hunting grouse this fall. I believe its a spotted owl.

Saw the same thing last weekend. This one was ready to claw my eyes out.


I hope it's Ok. I used this as my background on my laptop. I think this is one of the neatest pictures I've seen of an owl.

Have to agree, that is an awesome pic.  Would love to get a full megapixel copy of that.  Byrdman, I am pretty sure that is a western screech owl.
