'10 muzzleloader bucks down
« on: October 03, 2010, 08:35:29 PM »
So Kuduman and myself finally were able to go out on thursday morning and do some hunting, we went to one of our favorite spots and immediately ran into a bachelor group of mulie bucks! A short stalk later, Kuduman was lining up on his buck. One shot, one dead buck! It wasn't even 8:00 a.m. yet! By the time we were done hanging, and skinning his buck, we decided to wait for the next morning to try again.....The next morning was almost identical, as we went a bit farther down the canyon, located a whitetail bedded, and made another stalk. As we crested the knob, there was my buck staring at us at 30 yards in his bed. Another dead buck! And again, done before 8! It sure made for a short season, but great fun....Thanks for another great year Jeff. ;)
My biggest fear is when I die, my wife will sell all my guns for what I said they cost me!     ;)
