Keep her or not

OK. I love smokey flavor to my food. I have a green egg and LOVE the food it produces. My wife on the other hand wants me to cook more on propane. (Likes less or non-smoked foods)
Should I
1. continue to cook only on the Egg or the smoker and find someone more appreciative
2. Cook on the propane grill occasionally
3. Divide the meals and do a little of both.
PS I did a flank steak on the egg tonight, and am still drooling. She didn't seem to appreciate it and that is what brings up this topic.

both
also you can put it in the egg to get the flavor then throw it on the propane to finish it
i like to do this when i have extra time to spend cooking

I'll do that when I cook ribs, an hour in the smoker then finish it off on the grill...YUM!!! I LOVE my Bradley smoker!
Some people just don't have the level of sophistication to appreciate fine cuisine. Hopefully she has other redeeming qualities

My buddy has a propane grill next to his egg for just this reason. He lets the stuff burn on the propane, now people do not complain about the egg. His grandfather brought his back from Japan when he was in the militay, it is actually a kamado.

Rasbo I think you are right on. The dessert is worth keeping.

I'd eat the steak or salmon or whatever and let her eat Kraft Macaroni and cheese.

Split the difference..
Or kick her to the curb...
Kick her to the curb sounds like a good choice..
I will take My smoked meats..Over anything cooked on gas..
IMHO..
Give her a salad and you eat the tender brisket..Sounds like a win/win..
