I was down South of Ashford on Sunday.  I was on the back side of Osborn Mountain and saw a gut pile off the side of the road.  Looked like a good sized one.  Someone got lucky.

I heard of a 5 point taken during early archery season but that's it.

Hello ya'all new guy here.  Been muzzleloadin hard the last week, put 20+miles on my feet and haven't put any elk in the sights.  Gonna fish and clam tommarrow on the coast and look a little in the am for some elk, never hunted the copalis area. Not to worry late season is best for me anyhow.  I saw a 4x4 in the back of a pickup parked on the gravel road between 92 rd in ashford and scott turner opening day, pretty quiet westside early season.
