I was down South of Ashford on Sunday.  I was on the back side of Osborn Mountain and saw a gut pile off the side of the road.  Looked like a good sized one.  Someone got lucky.

Hello ya'all new guy here.  Been muzzleloadin hard the last week, put 20+miles on my feet and haven't put any elk in the sights.  Gonna fish and clam tommarrow on the coast and look a little in the am for some elk, never hunted the copalis area. Not to worry late season is best for me anyhow.  I saw a 4x4 in the back of a pickup parked on the gravel road between 92 rd in ashford and scott turner opening day, pretty quiet westside early season.

Was up scouting in ashford this weekend no elk the muzzle loaders must of ran them all off. seen a lot of bear sign up on osborn mt. i heard they took some bears out of copper creek.
