I think I'd have passed on him.   He looks a little week up top for my taste.

OK, seriously, I think it's pretty cool that a big boy like that still has a chance to die of old age in this state.   He has to be in a very small minority.

I think his 8's and 9's are a little weak too.

You can keep sheds. You can't keep skulls that you find in this state.
That all depends on who you talk to, it has been done, I know of several, one last year by a member who contacted WDFW and was allowed to keep it.
.

we found a dead one on the colockum last year and Gamie Mike said we could have the spikes & head if we wanted after he looked the critter over.
But someone beat us to the antlers with their saw before we could bag up the head. would have been a cool skull on my shed in the yard too.
TANNERITE needed for target practice on opening day of each hunting season.

Clearly that is one amazing bull. unbelieveable that a guy that big died of old age. Just glad it was that way and not by some idiots poaching. Im sure that his gene pool will live on in that area..

DAMN!!! I have watched that bull and had permission where he occasionally hung out. That plus the 7x I was watching getting whacked by a car a few weeks ago has two of my big 3 off the table... DAMN!!!  :bash:
