i plan on hunting the white bluffs area of the whaluke unit this fall with a muzzleloader. i live close to the area and i see some nice bucks out there, there's not a lot of deer but the deer that i see out there are really nice.

I have only been through the area a dozen times or so, and I saw very few deer while bird hunting.  I would follow the advice of others in this post and hunt water sources, rather than food.
