80 hours, but who’s counting…
« on: October 11, 2010, 09:18:28 AM »
80 hours left until I leave for deer camp! No, I'm not excited at all... (we need an "Ohh shiney! Lets go ride bikes!" ADD smiley face...)

So, this will be year #2 hunting for me me.
Last year was a ton of fun, but I only managed to bring home grouse and duck. Came close to a blacktail last year, but hesitated an extra second checking to make sure he was legal, never saw him again. Stalked a set of antlers, but was never able to make out what they were actually attached to. Did find where a bear was eating and pooing in the process though… Shared way too many sunrises with my buddy Uncoolperson... GF got a little jealous… Made some good friends hunting elk with JimKD8 and the rest of his cohorts, see you guys in about 3 weeks! And above all, last year made me realize how much I had missed just being outside.

This year I’m hunting whitetail opening weekend with 2 of my girlfriends uncles of all people… guess we’ll find out if her family actually likes me!  No, I’m kidding. Apparently I didn’t embarrass myself too bad turkey hunting with her uncle and he invited me back for deer season. At least that’s the cover story…

The biggest problem I have right now is that this just has to already be the slowest moving work week in the history of forever...

Don't let a little thing like a door keep you out of the woods. Blue tarp and duct tape it, then get after 'em :chuckle:

You have two girlfriends that have the same uncle?  Wow! How cool is that? Are they sisters or cousins? Kissin cousins? SaWheet!  I could be late for deer season if I was stuck in that situation.  :chuckle:
