A sign of prosperity and good luck!
« on: October 10, 2010, 09:27:16 AM »
As I was driving to to my favorite spot for my first Quail hunt of the season I came across these two white, banned Pigeons sitting in the middle of the road.   They would not move so I stopped the truck and scurried them to the side.  Mean while the cab of my truck was exploding with setters, totally insulted that they could not participate.

These birds stuck around long enough for me to get up close and take a few pics before they few away.  I took this as a sign of a fruitful and prosperous season.

I was not let down,  I had an amazing day with my dogs and was able to bagged a limit of Rabbit, half a limit of Quail  and enough mosquito's to feed an army (Damn they almost carried me away).

Tell me about signs of good fortune you have encountered and have they worked out?

Hey Rhinoron, I don't want to steal your favorite spot but I was wondering if you could give me a little insight as to where you're hunting rabbits around here... went out last weekend around Ellensburg (where I just moved to for school) and struck out.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't have any stories of signs to share, but I think the pictures are awesome and that is a great story. The line "exploding with setters" was awesome, too.

Did you see bans on them?
