Anyone going to be in Teanaway unit next weekend?
« on: October 11, 2010, 11:40:44 AM »
Guess i will be spending a couple weeks hanging out in teanaway.
No big secrets about this place. Except bring good hiking abilities lol!

Will be at some campground early early mornings and nights around a fire if anyone will be up there.
Just north of what looks like a trout hatchery.

We did the same, have been for years and it does help some years but the crowds seem to find you.

Used to hunt this area five years ago. Seems like it is very populated these days. Is there still good public land to hunt? Kind of sounds like a pumpkin patch.
A bad day hunting is better then any day at work

It's not far from Seattle/Tacoma so it does get a lot of people on the weekends. But there aren't many roads, so if you don't mind hiking two or three miles, it should be easy to get away from the crowds. Lots of country to hunt, very few roads.

Roads everywhere people everywhere, no deer, wouldn't hunt it.  Lots of public land though.
