Who makes the lightest factory rifle in 338 win mag?

Kimber is 6 3/4# :dunno:

Tikka T3 lite in 338 win mag is 6.4 lbs... Anything lighter??

I  dont dude, i shoot a .338 and love the caliber, however finding a lighter one has never crossed my mind, i guess its cool though you could clap behind your back with your shoulder blades, ala Pat McManus

7 1/2 lbs is the lightest I would want in a 338 Win Mag.   :twocents:

Just found out that tikka discontinued the T3 lite in 338 :'(

I second your sentiments on loving that cartridge.  If I was limited to a single cartridge for all big game in North America, that would be it.

I doubt that you'll do much better than the Kimber unless you go custom. I looked into it myself not that long ago. You end up paying an awful lot just to go a few ounces lighter.
