Ever Tried?

    Ground cougar not bad. Yet to try Coyote. I'll try about anything once....
Worst day hunting is better than best day working!

Cougar is not bad at all. Very lean to grind, like any game.

Coyote I wouldn't try just from the smell!

I voted cougar even though I haven't tried it. I would for sure. Probably steak, roast, burg and canned.

As for yotes.....yuck. Can't even think about it without getting a bit sick.

Never tried either but a buddy of mine got a couple cougar steaks from the local butcher and he said it was fantastic!!  I trust him enough to say I would eat cougar.

i said cougar. is is sweet meat for sure.

 in a survival situation, id eat a coyote in a heartbeat.

I hear cougar is good, never had it though. I would be willing to give a try. Coyote, no way would I try that. :puke:

Cougar steaks are pretty good.  I had a few in the freezer to grill up when company wanted something unusual.  I got my mother in law to eat one by telling her we had REALLY lean pork in WA...the look on her face was priceless when I told her what it was!   :chuckle:

every time i think about eating cougar i want to make sumthin chinese out of it like sweet and sour cougar or almond cougar maybe its just a cat thing but i would try it
If you cant fix it with a hammer you got an electrical problem

I have had cougar jerky.  It wasn't bad, of course if done right you can make jerky out of shoe leather.  Coyote....make the shoe leather...NO WAY I'd even want to try it.  Its probably fine, I just psychologically couldn't do it.
