What type of electronic call

I have narrowed it down to two, either a FoxPro Spitfire or a Extreme Dimension Phantom Mini Remote.  I can't decide.  The Phantom has some bear sounds that I would love to try out that the Spitfire doesn't, but is limited to 10 sounds on cards that they make.  The Spitfire can hold 24 at a time on a mini SD card with any sound you can find in a wav or mp3 format, but can't play two sounds at once.  Open to suggestions, thanks.

I'm in the same boat

For the price, the spitfire seems like a good choice. I'm fairly new to the world or electronic callers, but haven't heard much about the benefits of using 2 calls at once. I do like the fact you can download new calls from their website, and fill up a few SD cards with everything you think you may need.

I have heard it isnt the loudest unit out there (volume-wise), but that adding an external speaking via the jack can help change that. Also that the remote will work out to around 100yrds, which is a serious plus.

I'd go spitfire, but thats just me The FX3 (sp?) is supposed to be a lot better, at a slightly increased price.

If you buy anything but a Foxpro you'll just want a Foxpro even more. You can change the sound selection easily. I've seen a lot of guys buy other brands. Your only delaying the inevitable. Get a Foxpro. You wont regret it.

Foxpro also has superb service if you ever need it. Downloadable sounds etc.

Yep, I didn't mention that. They are REALLY great to work with over the phone. I couldn't download my last batch of sounds and they walked me through it without making me feel like the dumda$$ I am.

I talked my buddy into buying the WT Mighty Atom.  I am really impressed with the clarity, sound level, and quality of sounds.  I prefer the build of the WT with the enclosed housing over the Foxpro CS-24.  Having said that, I'm leaning toward the CS-24 when I finally do get an electronic caller.  The ability to change sounds easily appeals to me, and WT is fairly expensive with their sound library.  I think if they ever offered their sounds for free, they would probably quadruple the sales of their callers.

Of course, I have been saying that I'm going to buy an e-caller for years and have never pulled the trigger.

x2 and they have a ton of sounds! i am trying not to spend 600.00 and by a prarie blaster i also would suggest saving a little extra green and maybe get the fx3 like said. if not the spitfire will work just fine.

I would stay away from those Phantom calls. My wife and kids bought me one for christmas about 5 years ago. JUNK!!!!!!!!

If you can, try to hunt with a few guys and try out a few different calls. Foxpro makes a great call. I liked everything about mine. Except thier remote.

I sold it and bought a Minaska call. And have not looked back.

I'm trying to do the same, then i found this place. http://www.theammozone.com/hunting/game-calls-locators/predator-calls-accessories/59064-prairie-blaster-digital-call.html $440. seemed off so i sent them an email and they have them in stock! i think i will try them but i am still torn between the Prarie Blaster and Fury.....
