looking for white tail.

im looking for white tail on the green can above .ellensberg can any one point me in right way?

No offense, but have you been spraying paint into a brown paper sack and then inhaling it deep into your lungs? There are no white-tail around Ellensburg. There are mule deer though.

If you want whitetails you're gonna need to hit a different part of the state.

The Oak rail tavern, might find some white-tail there.. :chuckle:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Hit the Colville area for the Whities. Any buck and its loaded with them.

Just shows you how long its been since i have chased white-tail in e-burg

Hit the Colville area for the Whities. Any buck and its loaded with them.

Actually that's not quite true, 2 of the past three winters knocked the herd down about 60-75%.  Some whitetails are there, but it's certainly not loaded anymore.

last year i hunted up towards northport i forget what mountain we were on but there sure was a lot of deer up there. dad got a dandy 9 and i ended up passin on a deer i shouldnt have but if you can get up around that area ive heard a lot of luck comin around there

thats for damn sure the winter and cougar kill last year crushed my luck around the sherman pass area which used to be my dads go to spot every year and dropped some awesome bucks but not no more. i seen 16 does and a spike last year :'(

OH...I stand corrected then, its been 5yrs sense I hunted White-tail. Last time I did I've seen 12 bucks in 5 days in that area (mostly spikes and forkers, all shooters). So I just assumed they were still going strong. My bad.
