No. Siblings will stay together. Mother and young will stay together until the young are full grown. Sometimes adult males will partner up and stay together outside breeding season. Fathers stay with the mothers long enough to do the deed and split.

I think Mom was there with last years pups (there were three total last year) along with this years pups(total of 5).  You'll note the one teeth shot, the teeth are worn down on her a bit.   The two sibs from last year were constantly together, and so were the younger two.  The five were only together in short spurts.

Great pictures Doug, those are a fun animal to watch, even more so when the river freezes and they go under the ice.

Definitely. My best year in the 90s I caught 73, 60 day season at the time. Price is about a third of what it was then.

Another photo set to admire. :) Love it! Thanks for sharing.
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

THanks guys.  Yeah, they wre blue otters for awhile.   I shot them in Raw so was able to reverse the damge.  I think it made them more grainey, but better than nothing.   Shooting with light low on the water wasn't helping either.
