Using hevisteel 3's and 4's. Lots of ponds and creeks where I hunt.
Gathering is easy. Hunting is a challenge.

Unfortunately not this weekend but heading East for the pheasant opener next weekend to hunt what ever game bird that flies.

I almost always hunt with steel now to get the combo hunts.  I've taken ducks, pheasants, quail, and chukar all in one hunt.

Just a friendly reminder...the Eastern WA Pheasant Opener isn't until 10/23.

Not hunting the opener, but I almost always try for a nice duck/ goose set up in the morning, then when I'm bored head off for some upland.

yes i am in fact... this coming weekend! Warden here i come! Taking my father for the yearly openor at the brother inlaw's farm.... opening weekend is family only... Looking forward to some pheasant, maybee some duck and Oysters brought over by me.  :drool: Always a good time!

anyone have reports on Toppenish pheasants? I could not hit the early opening this year on the reservation.
