Next time at the store, buy a can of pink salmon.....should answer your question.
thats not fair man... the pink that is in that can prolly sat in the bottom of a fish hold for ever whole ungutted and taste like dog crap but imo if you bleed them and ice them right away the taste absolutely fine. I know im probably going to get blasted for being a lowlife pink eater but hey i think theyre pretty good  :dunno:

Didn't say I didn't like it...just giving him a quick opportunity to try some.  I've taken them in rivers and they were fine...obviously not sockeye, but good if taken care of as bowtech says. :)

I do not eat Sheep brains or pig feet either.....  But some people do... :chuckle:

Actually had some friends they would catch alot of the fresh pinks in Valdez and smoke them to give as gifts to lower 48 families and keep the reds/silvers for their own consumption....  :rolleyes:
