Got property below down in Orondo. Lots of mule deer around the wheat fields and in the canyons. I have never seen any elk around that area but i'm not saying there aren't either!
This is the year im going to get drawn, i can feel it. NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED, NOT SELECTED... damn :(

I'm driving over to that area tomorrow to look at some land that's why I was asking. My friend with the with the acres said the deer and Elk are pretty good around that area...  just wanted to hear from some other people who might know the area and see what they have to say about it good or bad.

Did you look at last year's harvest report?  It shows no elk killed in Badger or Moses Coulee GMU's. Two elk were killed across the river in the Swakane.

Badger= LOTS of private. Also lots of good deer, but they will be on private ground, gauranteed. also no elk on badger. Try Beezly Hills area, near Ephrata. Overen rd. or Baird springs rd. alot of feel free to hunt and written permission ground. Never hunted it but have seen a few good bucks out there and quite a few deer. Occasional elk swims the columbia and ends up over there but not often.

Pretty much summed it up.  Badger is highly private and the guys who own it are all deer hunters and arent too keen on letting people on their land.  Waterville has lots of deer but again is mostly private.  I've never personally heard of an Elk up that way either.  Cougar yes...

put your mind alittle closer to the gutter....the saying is, and delete this if need be but, "two in the pink, one in the stink"..."the shocker" now look at their hands in the pic. ;)  :chuckle:

i would advise staying off of badger mtn. if you are not 1000% sure of property lines and where the state/blm ground is.  the area around waterville is decent for deer, mostly on the breaks but again most the land owners that are not to keen on people tresspassing.

ive never see or even heard of elk being up on the flats and i grew up in orondo, but there are some elk that swim the river down by spanish castle every so often
