Great deal at Wal-Mart
« on: March 29, 2008, 02:17:50 PM »
OK guys, I hate to admit I shop at Wal-mart but I will for the good of the forum   :chuckle:
I was in there last night looking at guns (Lacey) and they have Remington 700 ADLs in 7MM Mag and .270 for $300.
Thats a pretty screamin deal. I would grab one but I've just bought 2 new toys in the last week and short on funds.
If someone needs a new one, there ya go.

Yeah, I noticed that last night too, they must be closing their hunt counter down or something...with cabelas and sportsmans within a rocks throw...?  :dunno:
I would love another .270.....

I picked one of the same deals up last year there.  At that time they also had a $30 rebate on them.  Pretty good score.

The one in Mount Vernon has a pretty nice Weatherby Vanguard Sporter marked down from $586 to $400...it's chambered for 300wtby, IIRC.

Not a rifle that would normally peak my interest, but seems like a great buy.
I left it better than I found it...did you?

I found out today that the ADL was replaced by the SPS except at Wal-mart. Its a wal-mart only gun. No different than the previous ADL.

a little off thread, but how can wal mart be the devil? it was started by one man, with the american dream, entreupuner??ship.. to sell goods to folks without the means to buy at expensive stores. one bizness turned to many stores.. right on if you ask me..

too bad the one in sequim and poulsbo dont sell rifles anymore.. too bad.
