Blacktail down..
« on: October 24, 2010, 09:51:05 PM »
Got this guy saturday morning right after daylight..spotted him way acrossed the canyon working across a clearing. I wasn't sure how long he was going to stick around as he had his nose to the ground working through the cut, but my dad and I made our way around on him to find that he had only gone about a hundred yards from where we last saw him. As it always seems to happen, he had us pegged as we crested the ridge but he stuck around long enough for me to lay across the stump, 238 yards and the rest is history, not quite my biggest blacktail but by far my biggest 2 point. The pics might not be real good quality as all I had with me was my cell phone..but enjoy..

Nice deer....Good job!
