first bobcat

we were coming out of the mountains from scouting for deer, when we came around the corner their she was sitting in the road, she saw us and darted off and I told my wife get the camera ready, when we got up to where she was we spotted her sitting back about 30 yrds, my wife was about five pictures in when I realized (and said loud enough to scare the crap out of my wife IT'S OPEN) wife says what open I said bobcat is open, I grabbed my 10/22 and shot her in the head, got some nice before and after pic's, sorry about the graininess of some of the pic's, it's to bad coyotee madness dont start till november

Congrats!  It is either a young one or you are a GIANT.   :chuckle: :chuckle:  Any cat is a good trophy though.  Are you gonna try eating it?
