Game on?
« on: October 27, 2010, 08:15:01 AM »
After seeing nothing the first six times out I was beginning to think that all of the deer poop on the ground was fake deer poo from the Irwin J. Minkman Novelty Co.  But now it sounds like deer are finally on the move.  Three other hunters I know saw and deer for the first time this year and all killed a buck.  One said his buck's neck was nice and swollen.  Hopefully Halloween will be like it has in the past with lots of deer.

On the east side it will be elk season, so you will be gauranteed to see deer then.

Yuuup, keep hearing more and more about how the rut is on. People have been posting pics within the past few days showing bucks chasing does around, which is a huge relief. Like you, I'd seen tons of scat, does, etc, but nothing I could shoot.

Hoping this changes things for us!!
Theres plenty of room for all of gods animals.... right next to the mashed potatoes!
