Thats a nice blacktail.  Too bad it wasn't taken in fair chase, it would've made a trophy for sure.

Buck scored 142 gross, and netted 135ish, a beautiful buck to say the least.  Also there was nothing that he did wrong, he was on his way home from work.  Who gives a Rats ass, ARM CHAIR GAME WARDENS!!!!!

I am not trying or claim to be an ARM CHAIR GAME WARDEN.  I do believe the guy who posted the pic said he didn't know the story behind it.  I do so I told it.  I probably would have done the same thing as he did.
I hunt therefore I am.

The meats in the freezer and we're enjoying the pics.
That's all that matters.

Robescc, you are the lat person I was refering to as an Arm chair gamey.  There are a lot of people laying judgement to this guy and they don't even know the whole story, he did nothing wrong.

That is an awesome deer.  Congrats to the hunter for taking the car hit deer out of his misery.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

I though you could legally tag a buck that was hit if the season is open and you have the appropriate tag. I dont think I owuld do it but I though it was legal.  :dunno:

You guys are funny!  :chuckle:

Awesome buck!

What's funny but not "ha ha funny" is when some of you speculate, judge and try to spin something that you are obviously green with envy about. Would you comment the same about a dink?
Although not harvested in fair chase he did the right thing. Be happy that such a magnificent animal was used and not wasted.

What's funny is when someone actually hunts and shoots his 10 point blacktail he is ridiculed so bad he leaves this site or when a father is so proud of how his son guided another hunter to a nice buck he is hammered about hunters orange and then with an incident like this no one is supposed to say a thing about the little details.

Talk about misinformation, it is completely, totally illegal to keep road kill in Washington State. There's no gray area, it's in the State Code.

I thought the guy shot it to kill it? It wasn't road-kill.
