You can Goggle Herman Waldron Custom Metalsmith to see some of his work. He went fulltime in the 80's and turned in his FFL in 2005. He is 77 years old, known nationally for his metal work and a charter member of the Custom Gun Makers Guild. Honored in 2008 as lifetime. Has been doing this work since the 60's. In his shop he was working on a .280 for himself, he has had a piece of wood put away for years for this job for himself.
He sanded off the checkering twice because of a line that was not right. We hope he can get back his sight well enough to complete this job and use this fine piece.
