my widgeon drought if officially over!!
« on: November 04, 2010, 01:29:33 PM »
went out today before school for a quick little shoot, not thinking I was gonna get many birds (more of a scouting trip then anything) and as it turns out, me and my buddy shoot 9 widgeon by 8:00 and finish the day off with 5 each before I had to leave for school.  I am sooooo stoked right now cuz these are the first widgeon I have shot in 2 years! :IBCOOL:  :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

Good lookin widgeon there.  They sure are cool looking birds.

Your dog looks tired....almost like he's ready for a nap. :)
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

lol, ya. she spent an hour before shooting light swimming around "saving sticks from drowning" and then went and retrived 10 birds. she slept in the car while I was in class and has been asleep the entire time ive been home, I had to wake her up and almost force her to move over by the birds to get that picture, haha i used a half bowl of food and that got her right up :chuckle:

Lots of them around right now.  Good shoot.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
