The mission is a big unit, with some monster late bucks. Do some studying of maps, google earth and find some access points. Lots of state land, just find it and be ready to hike.. Don't shoot the first 4 point you see, it will be a good hunt!!

This is a good tag.... the last week will be the best. The coming Snow should drive the deer down. hold out for a big buck and you should find one of the big boys.

I have heard the wall mart parking lot is really good.  :dunno:

good optics and which row you park in are the keys.

Lowe's parking lot has better quality bucks... Used to do a lot of coyote hunting around saddle rock, #1 and #2 canyon. Lots of good bucks running around when the snow hits. Drive up to the timber and work your way down from there.

scouting will be useless till after some measurable snow. The areas you mention are good and yeah, don't shoot the first good one you see. If you are patient, you should be able to get a bruiser. And please don't kill MY buck.
